A huge thank you to the group of Wesley Foundation students from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) who came to ARM during their Spring Break to work on homes in Lee and Macon Counties. They couldn’t have come at a better time helping us with debris cleanup in the tornado torn town of Salem. I believe they literally wore out two chainsaws and helped families clear homes too damaged to live their anymore. Additionally, they began work on a roof from a gentlemen who just had some really terrible leaks but not related to the storm. What an impact they had. We wish them well and hope they can one day return. Oh, and they also came bringing gifts of much needed computers to be used at our day camp in Livingston. As we said goodbye to our friends from MTSU, we also welcomed the incoming team from White Chapel UMC out of Texas. More to follow!
