MLK Weekend Missions Retreat

Martin Luther King, the leader of the civil rights movement, a pastor, and one of our century’s greatest leaders spoke a message of non-violence to overturn unjust laws. He quotes the book of Amos by saying, “let justice roll down like waters, and mercy like an ever flowing spring”. He continues to be an inspiration to so many. It seems appropriate that we would use his birthday weekend to share Christ with our brother’s and sister’s dealing with poverty.

The MLK Missions Retreat is held during the three day weekend in January that commemorates Dr. King’s birthday each year. Work teams stay at a parsonage in Tuskegee and serve Macon and Lee Counties. Groups arrive on Friday night and depart after church on Sunday. College students primarily from the Auburn Wesley Foundation design and run this retreat along with the ARM staff. The cost is $85/person with a $50/team deposit fee. The cost covers all of your expenses.

Use the non-summer registration form, fill out, and send back to us by December 18th.
