Special Events

The majority of ARM’s work is done during the summer months of June and July.  However, exciting service opportunities are available throughout the year.  Spring Break, Christmas Break, Fall Break trips are available for home repair missions at our Tuskegee site only. Our year round site can be for any group of volunteers.

On a weekend basis

Spring Break (College/Youth Sessions):

We schedule according to what dates work best for your group.  We already have teams booked so schedule your trip soon!

Team Registration:  $50 (non-refundable unless we cannot work out a date for you)

Cost:  $50/working day/person for three or less days or $180/person for four or more days. Team must provide own meals.

Site:  Tuskegee, AL.  Historic sites include Tuskegee Airmen Museum, George Washington Carver Museum, and Tuskegee University.

Accommodations:  Historic Huntingdon College women’s dormitory (now Tuskegee UMC parsonage) : three large bedrooms, three showers, large kitchen, and three meeting rooms.  Can hold teams of 25 or less.  For larger teams overflow space is available at Tuskegee First United Methodist Church.

Other Amenities: Montgomery and Auburn are 30 and 20 miles away, respectively.

Type of Work:  Construction–basic roofing, wall repair, flooring, wheel chair ramps, porch repair, minor plumbing, minor electric, and more.
