It’s only 20 days away!!!! No More Shacks-Sweet Homes for Alabama campaign! There are some awesome ways many can help us raise $77,000 towards 16 more families and homes:
1) Give online at www.arm-al.org by clicking on the Donate Now button- no gift is too small! Lots of love makes it grow
2) Come by the shack and drop your donation with myself and our community guests. You can find us at the Auburn Wesley Foundation across from Tiger Rags from Oct. 19-25th
3) Look for wheelbarrows around the Auburn/Opelika area. Called the Wheelbarrow of Change, we are hoping to collect as much loose change as we can towards our $77,000 goal. AND, you can do this at your church. Yep-just set up a wheelbarrow (we have some flyers you can print out on our web site), invite people to put change in it, and after Oct. 31st count it up, cash it in, and send it over. Really easy and a way for all to help!
4) On Friday night, Oct. 21st, AU students will be setting up a cardboard city next to our shacks and also helping us raise funds. Also a neat way to plug your youth in by sponsoring a cardboard city lock-in. Charge a $5 donation for boxes and have kids sleep in. They can set an individual or youth group goal to raise and send back to us.
