BuildMore Serve Days : April 13th 7:30am-4:00pm meet at Auburn Community Church for breakfast and then we will head to Tuskegee Methodist Church (202 S Main St. Tuskegee, AL) Gather your church friends, family, or small group and come put your hands and heart to work. Come build more than porches and wheelchair ramps (although, those are pretty good, too). Come join us as we help restore homes and hearts in East Alabama. We will serve at the Tuskegee Methodist Church. There will be various projects for all ages, stages, and skill sets so you don’t have to be a home repair knowledgeable person to join! Prayer Breakfast: – April 19th – 7:30am-8:00am meet at the ARM office at 7:30. Come join us as we pray for our community and our homeowners needing repair. A light breakfast will be provided after.

25th Anniversary Celebration- jARMboree-April 20th 3:00pm Tuskegee Mission Hub (202 S. Main Street, Tuskegee). We will gather for a celebration like no other! Join us as we give praise to God and so many others for 25 years of ministry! We will recognize some very special people, hear testimonials, and see the many works God has done! There will be a band, DJ, food trucks, inflatables for kids and tours of the Tuskegee Church. You’ll see what God has done and see where we believe God will take us the next 25 years. Registration is still open. Cost is $10/person.
ARM@AU
ARM@AU is Alabama Rural Ministry’s Student Group. They meet bi-weekly from 6-7pm on Thursday nights at the AU McWhorter School of Building Science, Gorrie Center Conference Room. The next meeting is April 11. Please email Virginia Shack for details and see the ARM@AU webpage.
ARM Summer Camp Counselor Applications are still open. ARM hosts youth mission teams in Tuskegee who serve through home repair and children’s day camp ministry. If you would like to dedicate your summer to hosting these teams in the summer as a construction coordinator, day camp counselor, or site leader, please see the details and the application. Upcoming Home Repair Service Days in East Alabama: Some details
April 13th: “Love the Hub” in conjunction with My Jerusalem. This service day is focused on getting the Tuskegee Mission Hub and ARM Guest House ready to host our summer youth mission camps and SonShine Kids Day Camp (the children’s camp for Tuskegee residents).
This is a great project for the non-handy. Lots of painting, sprucing up the grounds, light cleaning and more. Great for families and youth groups.
How to sign up a group or as an individual on a Buildmore Service Day
1. Click the link taking you to a Google Form
2. Select the date or dates you are registering for
3. If you are registering a small group (church team, student organization, family etc), please put the name of that group and we’ll follow up with how to register an individual with your team.
4. You can register as an individual if you are not part of a group. We will place you with another existing group on that day.
Does it cost me anything? Well, just serving is a sacrifice in itself. However, there is a suggested donation of $10 and you can also purchase some ARM gear with some of those proceeds going to ARM helping us purchase the building materials. We’ll give you a link and QR code to help with part on the day we serve.
You will receive a follow-up email confirming your registration and an ARM team member will contact you with more details and ways to help recruit team members if needed.
