How can it be Week 7 already!? It seems like Youth Mission Camp just started yesterday but here we are at the end of our 20th summer of ministry with our friends in rural Alabama – wow! We enjoyed such a great week of serving with 2 teams of new friends.
Parkesburg Baptist Church of Parkesburg, PA came all the way from eastern PA to serve with our home repair and children’s day camp ministries in Sumter County! The day camp crew got to join the day campers for their summer field trip to the children’s museums in Jackson, MS. Plus, the home repair crew serving with Ms. Johnson was able to put the finishing touches on the pole barn roof!
In Tuskegee, Hillsboro UMC of Franklin, TN, also served with our home repair and day camp ministries. The day camp crew also got to enjoy a fun field trip with the Tuskegee day campers to the children’s museums in Atlanta, GA! One of the home repair crews serving with Ms. Turk were able to finish up her roof repairs and helped Ms. Turk organize her living spaces!
We were very blessed to serve with all these new friends for our final week of our 20th annual youth mission camp!
