Week 6 of youth mission camp brought us friends from just down the road in Thomasville, AL and Tallassee, AL. These communities are not only nearby; they’re also very rural communities just like the communities where we serve in Tuskegee and York. Our friends from FUMC Tallassee served with home repair and children’s ministries in Tuskegee. Thomasville UMC came down to serve in York with our home repair and children’s day camp ministries! We loved being able to partner with other rural churches in Alabama and we know they went home inspired and prepared to serve in their own communities!
