Over the past week, our Livingston summer mission site was blessed to seek the shalom of families and children in Sumter county alongside our friends from teams who came from three different states:
- Fayette UMC of Fayette, AL
- Collins UMC of Collins, MS
- First UMC of Gainesville, TX
Throughout the week, these teams served with several families throughout Sumter County and got the Sonshine Kids Day Camp in Livingston off to a great start on its 7 week journey with Jesus as our Living Water!
We’re so thankful for the opportunity we had to get to know and walk alongside these students as God worked in and through us to create “sneak peeks” of shalom. We pray that God has inspired these teams to seek the shalom of Fayettee, AL, Collins, MS, and Gainesville, TX, because “in its shalom you will find your shalom”!
