Our Tuskegee summer mission site was blessed to seek the shalom of families and children in Lee and Macon counties alongside our friends from 2nd Presbyterian Church of Bloomington, IL this past week! This team of high school students served with us for a few days as part of their annual 10 day choir tour. We were especially excited to hear them perform for veterans and staff at the Tuskegee VA hospital. Throughout the week, the 2nd Pres served with a family in Smith Station, completed finishing touches at the Tuskegee Mission Hub, and got the Sonshine Kids Day Camp off to a great start on its 7 week journey with Jesus as Living Water!
We’re so thankful for the opportunity we had to get to know and walk alongside these students as God worked in and through us to create “sneak peeks” of shalom.
Great work 2nd Pres! We pray that God has inspired you to seek the shalom of Bloomington, IL because “in its shalom you will find your shalom.”
