ARM has openings on our Ministry Team. You might be called to serve with us, extending the love of Christ through home repair to our neighbors in need. Below are overviews of the positions. Ministry Operations Director: The Ministry Operations Director (MOD) oversees a team responsible for all aspects of ARM’s events, volunteers, and mission team programs. S/he reports directly to the Executive Director. Responsibilities include recruitment of summer staff, interns, and mission teams; planning and oversight for our mission hosting site and children’s day camp; supervising and managing various interns and support staff supporting the mission teams; and planning/oversight of annual non-summer events. The MOD serves as a spiritual director, developing and overseeing the various youth themes and biblical topics shaping our mission- hosting site, and home repair and mission priorities. A bulk of time is dedicated to ARM’s summer mission hosting site(s). This person integrates with the Housing Ministry Operations Director (HMOD) in the homeowner process and construction support.
Housing Ministry Operations Director: The Housing Ministry Operations Director (HMOD) oversees a team responsible for all aspects of the home repair process for ARM. S/he reports directly to ARM’s executive director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the home repair application process, verification, home repair process, close-out, and continued relationships. Furthermore, the HMOD will recommend and oversee projects related to community revitalization. Finally, the HMOD will oversee and be responsible for ARM’s facilities, properties, and tools through support staff and volunteers. The HMOD supports ARM’s Construction Coordinator(s). This person integrates with the Ministry Operations Director (MOD) in mission volunteer coordination and support.
VISTA of Communication: The Full-Time Communication Americorps VISTA: The role of the Communication VISTA is to build communication processes with ARM for sustainability and common practices. Specifically, create a summer counselor media plan for mailing and electronic publication for summer counselors who run ARM’s summer mission site. Create a team recruiting media plan for mailing and electronic publication for potential volunteer groups providing home repair and a children’s day camp. Develop media plans for recruiting summer camp counselors and volunteers. Organize the ARM picture database to make it more efficient and easier to use. Increase donor engagement with a 10% increase in donations and a 10% increase in new donors. Publish a quarterly paper newsletter to 3500 people, publish in December, April, and August. Collaborate with all staff to collect and share the success stories of those being served and from volunteers. Create monthly homeowner and volunteer updates for the website. Create and post blogs and make regular and engaging social media updates across all ARM’s social media platforms. Three posts per week and one blog per month is the minimum. Serve during monthly community service days and throughout the summer, taking pictures and videos
to publish on ARM’s YouTube Channel.

Summer Staff: We have 11 summer staff positions to serve as one team hosting youth mission teams this summer. Mission teams serve through home repair or children’s ministry. Summer staff support these youth mission teams as construction coordinators, day camp coordinators, food/hospitality coordinators, or as a construction specialist.
