We’re so excited to spend the next 2 days with friends and fellow home-repair collaborators at the ReFrame Conference in Johnson City, TN! What is Reframe? In their own words, “ReFrame Association is a national network of nonprofit home repair organizations committed to providing occupants of substandard housing with safer, more livable shelter.” They’re a group who exists to help folks like us do a better job of serving families through home repair. How cool is that?!

We’re proud to be members of the ReFrame Association along with a few other outstanding organizations you’re probably familiar with: Appalachia Service Project, Carolina Cross Connection, Mountain T.O.P, Service Over Self, Raise the Roof Project, and so many more!

We get to spend a day and a half with these great folks at the annual ReFrame Conference learning about things like building confidence with families, community development partnerships, construction project management, and so much more. Lisa, Joe, and John will be attending and there will be something for all of them to learn! We’re so thankful for this opportunity and can’t wait to take what we learn to improve the way we serve.

In honor of our trip, here’s the song that always comes to mind when I (Joe) think of going to Johnson City, Tennessee…
