Day Camp Coordinator
You get to bring the Bible to life and help children learn some amazing skills while having an amazing time!
SonShine Kids Day Camp is a weekly camp running Monday-Thursday in Tuskegee. Coordinators serve alongside the mission teams to coordinate Bible lessons, recreation, educational enrichment, and more for 25-30 kids ages 6-11. Each week children learn a life-skill module such as financial literacy, nutrition, health and first aid in addition to the Bible lessons.
Day Camp Counselors will have over 120 hours of classroom experience with kids from low-income communities making this a great opportunity for those interested in elementary education, social work, psychology, or human development and families. As you love being with children and youth, this will be great fit for you!?
Construction Coordinator
You get to do hands-on repairs, mentor youth, and love on some incredible people who need home repairs! You put your love of building into practical use! Our goal with each home is to make it warm, safe, dry, and beautiful!
Construction coordinators are the direct link between the youth teams and the families receiving home repair. Coordinators plan and design the projects and organize the building materials and tools for the youth teams. They ensure timely delivery of materials and help solve problems on the work sites.
As a Construction coordinator, you also gain hands-on residential construction experience (prior experience is preferred but not required) by serving with families seeking a home that is safe, warm, and dry. You will also learn invaluableproject planning and management skills as you coordinate plans, tools, and materials for our mission teams.

Intern Testimonials
I dedicated my summer to ARM as a Day Camp Counselor intern and it benefited me more than I could have imagined. As a Day Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to pour into the lives of young students and use your creativity to make it exciting for them. This internship will give you the chance to make connections with people of all ages and backgrounds and that alone is priceless. If you are a college student in need of an internship, definitely talk with the ARM team to see where you could fit!

Day Camp Coordinator
Serving as an ARM Summer Mission Intern taught me a lot about what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ. As a Construction Coordinator, I got a lot of experience doing and managing, and preparing for home repair projects. As a Site Leader, I had the privilege of helping the rest of the intern team to do ministry and was able to develop and put into practice servant leadership. Both of the summers that I served with ARM were amazing and helped me to be better prepared for a life of Christian service.
